Hi, I'm Megan! I've spent the majority of my career in a newsroom, chasing stories, interviewing news makers, and occasionally, being that reporter standing in a hurricane or snowstorm. (You know exactly what I'm talking about).
While I love the chase of a story, I'm an entrepreneur at heart. After years of flirting with the idea, I took the leap and crossed over to the dark side, as we say. I helped a fellow journalist grow an agency, working with startups and mature businesses refine their story and get it out there. We worked on a pure referral basis, and quickly began getting more intros than we had the bandwidth for.

Zata Media is a PR and media training agency with a journalist’s heart. We are tenacious, to the point, thrive in a making-it-work-no-matter-what environment, and are the kinds of people you'd grab a drink with after a long day. We're better connected than most agencies too.
